License agreement
A clear summary of what the Neo license allows. The specific terms of each contract are in your proposal.

1. What the license includes
The Neo license gives access to all Neo products: NeoMath, NeoChem, NeoConverter, NeoProof, NeoCR, NeoScript, the Word and InDesign add-ins, the command line, the local API and the MCP server. NeoMath Web for platforms is contracted separately.
2. Who can use it
On the Individual plan, one person. On the Education and Companies plans, the people and number of licenses defined in the proposal.
3. Installation
You may install the tools on Windows, macOS and Linux, on the number of computers provided in your plan.
4. What is not allowed
Without written authorization from Neo, you may not:
- resell, sublicense or rent the license;
- remove or bypass license verification;
- reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows;
- offer the software as a service to third parties.
5. Your files
The equations, molecules and documents you create are yours. They keep opening and can always be exported, so your files never get locked into the tools.
6. Third-party components
The tools include free fonts (SIL OFL) and an open-source recognition model (MIT license), distributed under the original licenses.
7. Support and updates
Support and updates follow what was contracted in your plan.
